Kale

Playing with his sister's monster truck requires a lot of concentration. This guy knows everything there is to know about trucks and cars! He's so focused....
Exposure unrecorded.

Jaden

Jaden rocks! He is so much fun to be around. I'm not sure how this picture ranks technically but I love his expression and I'm glad I captured this moment.

Laura

This photo was taken on the ferry from Dartmouth to Halifax, NS. There were buskers along the waterfront that seemed to capture Laura's attention.

Jack I

This little guy was such a delight. I didn't have to do much with this shoot. He just kept smiling and I just had to keep up.

Pitre Family

This was my first family photo shoot. These two kids were amazing! Bailey is so great with Jake and I like how this picture turned out. Jake wasn't very interested but I managed to keep him intrigued by letting him take every second or third picture. Everything worked out and Jake made the whole shoot a lot of fun!

Canada Day!

Canon 5D, EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM, f/8 @ 27 sec, ISO 100.

Dawn of A New Day

This was taken at about 5:30am. I stumbled upon this place late one evening and came back for sunrise the next morning.

Peggy's Cove II

Strong Day
Come on, I wouldn't live in Nova Scotia if I didn't have a few of these kicking around!

I took this picture while I was sailing around the Great Lakes last year...

Star Trails

This was my first attempt at capturing star trails. I've never tried it before. I was at the cottage watching game three of the Pittsburgh/Flyers series and this picture was taken during the entire third period. I know, it's a hard life! It's a bit noisy, I used the wrong ISO but I'm excited to try a lot more of these. Stay tuned!

Highway #118

I pass this highway everyday on my way to work and wanted to get a long exposure at dusk for quite some time. It was -15C and my batteries were dying after shooting for a few hours. Standing on the overpass, I knew I only had a few shots left. When a motorist behind me stopped because he thought I was going to jump I realized this was a stupid idea!

Cow Bay

Wood n' Rocks
This is an old wall built at the base of a cliff to stop the erosion of land. I don't think it worked. This is all that's left! This was taken in Cow Bay, NS. Canon 5D, EF 24-105 f/4L USM, f/22 @ 1.3 sec, ISO 100

Peggy's Cove

No doubt, this is one of the world's most photographed lighthouses. For me, Peggy's Cove is a great place to learn about composition. Although most pictures of this lighthouse include the rocks, I opted for less rock and more sky. This was taken with a Canon 5D, EF 24-105 f/4L IS USM, f/5.6 @ 30 sec, ISO 400.
