Yellow Rocks!

On my visit to Martinique Beach I was amazed at the colours in the rocks. I loved it and got sucked in. I'm sure there are more photos out there. Hmmm...

Cape Spear

I just came across these photos from the summer. I'm going through all my photos and reorganizing them. It makes a big difference when they all start piling up on you and you can't find anything. This was when my wife and I spent time visiting my family in Newfoundland!

Morning Light

This morning I was out at Lawrencetown Beach before the sunrise. When the sun came up it really lit up the beach!

This is a photo that I made by picking up my tripod, pointing the camera down and while I took the photo I rotated my body from left to right. The results surprised me!

Backlighting

My buddy Andrew helped me play around with some new equipment and ideas. I honestly love this shot! I do see room for improvement though, like get the shot before the beer is almost gone!

Ice Patterns

I'm always looking for patterns in anything. Sometimes you just have to bring them out.

The Depth of Snow

It was -19C when I took this photo. I was at Lawrencetown beach after a light snow fall. I thought it was cool how the snow fell "around" the rock. I used the lines from the boardwalk to help me achieve depth.
